They are coming here sept 1st, I`d like to go, but might not be able to afford it, I saw them two years ago at the misnnamed Blues Fest though.

Oh, it was quite excellent. It was an outdoor concert, so there were no seats so you could hack and slash your ways up close, which is what I did. They are a good band to see live, because they play hard, and are full of energy. I would recommend it if you have a chance.

Considering that some of their songs are quite straining, I'd want to assume they're pretty good live.

Random observation: their singer always strikes me as an alternative-universe Rhys Ifans that decided to become a musician.

They are great live. I have seen them in both outdoor and stadium venues and they sounded fantastic at both. Nothing gets lost from the album recordings (they sound very true to their albums) as both the vocals and music come through well and nothing gets muzzled out. If you ever get the chance I highly recommend going. They'll be in Toronto again soon (at a smaller venue that I like quite a lot) and I'll see if I can go again.
